That's The Job

  • Independently manage the day-to-day financial accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
  • Reconcile accounts, clarify outstanding items, and handle payment transactions and dunning processes
  • Process travel expense reports and ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping
  • Serve as the point of contact for accounting-related questions in day-to-day operations
  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to finance-related projects
  • Proactively optimize processes, systems, and digital solutions within the finance and accounting function

That's You

  • Completed commercial training as an Industrial Clerk (m/f/d), Tax Clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification, such as Certified Financial Accountant (m/f/d) (IHK)
  • Initial professional experience in financial accounting, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and fixed asset accounting
  • Ideally, knowledge of preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (Comarch ERP), digital invoice processing solutions (Easy Software), Lexware, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), along with a strong openness to learning and working with new systems
  • A self-reliant, structured, and conscientious way of working
  • Strong language skills – German at C1 level and English at B1 level, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively in both spoken and written form
